Biography

Ramazan Yeniçeri was born in Denizli, Türkiye in 1985. He is married to Vuslat Yeniçeri and has a daughter.

He received his B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Istanbul Technical University (ITU). In 2014, he visited NDnano at the University of Notre Dame as a researcher for six months. He received ITU's Annual Award for Best Ph.D. Thesis in 2015, and the Boeing Faculty Award from Boeing University Relations Funding Program in 2017.

He worked as a research and teaching assistant in the ITU Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, where he was also involved in research activities at the GSTL Embedded System Design Laboratory. He later worked as a Senior Design and Verification Engineer at Electra IC and subsequently served as a Senior Researcher at the ITU Aerospace Research Center (ITU ARC).

Since 2017, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aeronautical Engineering at ITU. He was one of the Vice Chairs of the Department of Aeronautical Engineering between 2019 and 2021. He has been the Chair of the Department of Defense Technologies since 2020. He also served as a Board Member of the ITU Aviation Institute during the 2018–2020 and 2024–2025 terms and has been serving as a Board Member of ITU ARC since 2025. He is the founder and Principal Investigator of the ARCHI Avionics Research Group.
