Our university uses the semestre system made up of a
fall and spring semestre... both which end with a week of exams. The grades
are given about a week after the end of the exams. The studio project
submission dates and the juries (reviews-open crits of the projects) are also
a week or so after final exams. individual courses (classes) usually have
final project, presentations and so forth instead of final exams.
We do not have a christmas break, but have a number of
‘bajrams’ holidays – secular national ones which have a fixed date and a few
longer ones of religious themes which change dates every year because they
refer to the moon calender... we’ll soon post those dates as well...
