My PhD studies focus on Internet of Things. I am researching the Denial of Service (DoS) Attacks which target IoT environments. We use Contiki OS and its Cooja simulator for our studies.
During my masters, I was working on a hardware implementation of a fast modular multiplier which can be used for the encryption/authentication operations for RSA cryptosystem. I had worked with the front-end implementation of the chip for both FPGA and ASIC technologies.
During my undergraduate, I designed an intrusion detection system which tries identify the attacks by analyzing the payload portions of the packets.
My interests are:
- Internet of Things, IoT security and DoS attacks to IoT,
- RPL and RPL-based networks
- Communication technologies such as 6LoWPAN-based networks, LoRaWAN, Bluetooth, Thread.
- Network security,
- Intrusion detection and mitigation
- Crypto-specific hardware design and implementation ,
- Contiki OS, GNU/Linux systems.
