I am a PhD candidate in Computer Engineering, İstanbul Technical University. I focus on security of Internet of Things networks and attacks targeting such environments under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sema F. Oktuğ and Assoc. Prof. Dr. S. Berna Örs Yalçın.
I was a research & teaching assistant at Faculty of Computer and Informatics Engineering, İstanbul Technical University for 3.5 years until August 2018, which I loved for sure.
I spent 3 months time between 1st of February and 30th of April, 2017 as a short term visiting researcher in Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS) at Networked Embedded Systems (NES) group. This short term research was supported by the COST Action ACROSS STSMs.
I am a student member of both IEEE and ACM. I am also a member of IEEE Communications Society and Computer Society.
I served and currently serve as a reviewer to journals (i.e., IEEE Internet of Things journal since 2016, ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks, IEEE Communication Letters) and conferences.
