            Today the self navigated mobile vehicles are used in many different areas such as space researches for example; path finder, and military researches for example: mine detection robots, remote controlled mapping applications of military, in unhealthy conditions for the human for examlple in raditional environments, and also in some hobbies such as Sumo Robots.

            In these sensor based navigations the robot moves according to the evaluation of the current data that is done by the microcontroller. Being limited with the imaginary of the human brain, the robotics has infinite applications. This limitless attracts the people to research on this subject.

            The budget reserved for the researches on robotics differs from country to country according to the economical factors. This sitution effects the people who are interested in this subject badly, because the available components for making a robot is limited with the capaticities of the electronics markets. For example in Turkey, there is not a place to get a ready-made robot on the contrary to the foreign countries. In the foreign countries it is available to find a robot in a set which is ready to build. These circumstances can make being interesteed with robots expensive and tiresome.

            To deal with all components of a robot from its mechanical construction to its software makes being aware of the every part of a robot. The first step to make a robot is designing an appropriate form according to the purpose of the research. Constructing our robot like a tank is came out from this point of view. Its shape is like a tank because navigating the vehicle with two seperate parts gives the advantage of simpler kinematic equations for the wheels. If the vehicle would be navigated by the two front wheels, lots of kinematic equations should be solved to design the vehicle. Also making the vehicle like a tank gives the simplicity of rotating on a point. It does not need any extra space to rotate.

            The second criteria in shaping the form of the vehicle is the energy sources. If an accumulator is being used in the system of the vehicle, the shape of the accumulator effects the vehicle directly, because the accumulator would be carried on the vehicle. The other criteria of the accumulator that effects the vehicle design is the weight of the accumulator, or generally the shape of the energy source.
