Shepherd Airlines is a technological aircraft company.The company woork on improving aircraft technology.
Shepherd Airlines was established by co-founder Goksel COBAN at 2012.The initial fleet consisted of five aircraft until 2013,
three of them was rented.At summer 2013, aninvestment agreement signed between Gauss Firm and Shepherd Airlines.
The agreement was milestone of Shepherd Airlines and The company is increasing their matket value since 2012.

PRODUCTS
Shepherd Airlines engineers invent a new technology in ITU laboratories. Their source of inspiration is Energy Recovery System which be in use Formula1 cars.
The Power Units ERS (Energy Recovery System) uses the MGU-H and MGU-K plus an Energy Store, plus some power and control electronics. Heat and Kinetic Energy recovered can be consumed immediately if required by the other MGU, or used to charge the Energy Store. The stored energy can be used to propel the car by the MGU-K or to accelerate the turbocharger by the MGU-H.
Turkish engineers improved ERS for aircraft and they intitled TAERS(Turkish Aircraft Energy Recovery System). TAERS uses energy recovery generators.Energy recovery generator is regaining energy it receives from the exhaust gas, wheels and especially aircraft's potential energy.While aircrafts are landing, they lose potential energy but TEARS is regaing some part of energy. Estimates show that five hundred aircraft will use TEARS in 2020.
