My name is Güven ÇALIŞKAN and i was born in İzmir, Konak at 14 May 1985. i started my education at Bilecik and i had my high school education at Bursa Ali Osman Sönmez Fen Lisesi, Bursa. i'm still at ITU, research assistant.

i love drawing, drumming, reading and trying new things on coding. creating new things is what i like most; both on drawing, drumming and coding. designing is a work and also a hobby for me.

besides this, i love sporting. the sports i love the most are chess, basketball and swimming.

i love coding for better UX and design. i've been drawing pictures since my childhood and also i have CS education, so connecting coding and design in one platform, which is front-end, is really an enjoyable work for me.

i love doing responsive designs. what i care about most is having interesting, ergonomic and useful designs.

skills

i love design and coding at the same time. i always follow new technologies, new libraries&frameworks and use them. UX is a very important point in design where the style is also; and i love trying to develop them to better points.

i have been drawing since my very early ages. i had experince at Uykusuz Magazine, Blizzard Fan Art Contest and many local contests. i love doing new character designs, cartoons. Drawing is a lifestyle for me.

the main languages i develop for web are CSS3, HTML5, javascript (using jQuery, AngularJS, JSON), PHP (with frameworks), Python and i use No-SQL databases most of the time. besides that, languages like C, C++, and Lua are a must.

i play drums since 2002, at high school. i play metal drums. i love double bass, blast and also odd drum signatures. i played at some pubs at Taxim but now i just play with my friends at studio.
