The Bicak Research Group is interested in the design, synthesis, exploration, and exploitation of new functional polymers, in particular novel materials with advanced and unusual mechanical, optical and electronic properties. Most of our research projects relate to synthesis of inorganic and organic functional polymers, both solid and liquid, acting as reagents, catalysts, carriers of protecting groups, templates, ion-exchangers, selective sorbents, chelating agents, supports for enzymes and cells, and the like.
