About Me

Who Am I?

Hi I'm Ismail Cem Bakir. I graduated from Computer Engineering in Istanbul Technical University, one of the universities that train the best engineers in Turkey, in 2014. I completed my master's degree at ITU, Department of Information and Communications Engineering in 2020, including an exchange program at the Tallinn University of Technology. In 2017, I moved to Geneva and worked as a software developer at the United Nations, International Organization for Migration for a year.

Over 8 years, I've been working as a professional Software Engineer mostly in web projects, using different sets of technologies. In addition to specializing in .NET, I've also worked on Java based projects.

Among the fields I've been lately working are Event Driven Architecture and Serverless design, Domain Driven Design, cloud development with Amazon Web Services. Needless to say, CI/CD processes are a part of my daily work routine.
