Researcher Profile
Binnur was born in Bulgaria in 1980 and she moved to Turkey with her family in 1989. She graduated from Istanbul Technical University, earning a B. S. in Chemistry in 2004. Later she continued her education at the same university and obtained a M.S. degree with Professor Yusuf Yagci in Polymer Science and Technology in 2006. Binnur began her doctoral research in the spring of 2006.
Research
Binnur worked on a project making linear and functional polymer by Atom Transfer Radical Coupling (ATRC). She is now working on another project bassed on visible light epoxide curing systems. Her current researches are focused on long wavelength acting systems, benzoxazine chemistry and click reactions.
