TUBITAK-FRBR joint project
A joint project supported by TUBITAK and FRBR (Russian Research Agency) is just launched. The project focuses on Determination of the Basic Characteristics and Revealing the Atomic Mechanisms of the Thermal Stability of Different Hydrogenated Graphene-Layers-Based Nanostructures and Carbon Nanotubes, Relevance to the Problem of the Hydrogen On-Board Storage in Fuel-Cell-Powered Ecological Vehicles.
Turkish part of the project is directed by Prof. Yuda Yurum (Sabanci University). Prof. Nilgun Karatepe Yavuz and Adem Tekin are also involved in the project.
Students interested in modelling Carbon Nanotubes or Graphene for hydrogen storage are kindly welcomed to join us.
