---- Continuous ECG data transmission from standard limb leads (lead I and lead II),

---- 300Hz sampling frequency,

---- Supply voltage 3.3V, total current < 50 mA ,

---- 10 hours usage with 9V alkaline battery, 24 hours usage with 4.2V Li-Ion battery,

---- Size of the module is 407015 mm,

---- included micro-controler with seven 12 bit ADC, two 12 bit DAC,

---- included charge unit,

---- included buzzer for alerting open lead wires and battery low

---- included 4 leds to alert : 1) Battery low, 2) open lead wires, 3) disconnection of bluetooth communication, and 4) system on/off,

FIRST PROJECT

 

Properties of Home-care program using the wireless ECG module

---- Determination (in terms of normal or abnormal ECG waveforms) of ECG waveform abnormalities by a neural network,

---- Learning the normal ECG waveform of the user (patient)

---- Determination and monitoring of abnormal rhythms (bradicardia, tachicardia, asistol, escape beat, premature ventricular contraction (PVC), T on R, bigemini, trigemini, rarely PVC, atrial premature beat (APB),

---- Monitoring the standard limb leads I and II,

---- If needed, abnormal/normal ECG data is saved in hard-disk, or read from the disk to monitor ECG data,

---- If needed, abnormal/normal ECG data is sent to a computer on internet,

---- Configuration of the internet address of server/client computer, virtual serial port number, etc.,

---- ECG data is saved into a MMC Card (32 Mbyte) in real-time,

---- For Supply voltage 3.3V,

total current < 25 mA for the module with bluetooth,

total current < 8.5 mA for the module without bluetooth,

---- 26 hours usage with 1.5 Li-ion battery (2400 mA ) for the module with bluetooth,

---- Size of the module is 602010 mm,

---- Modul includes micro-controler with 12 bit ADC,

---- Modul includes buzzer for alerting open lead wires

---- Modul can send ECG signal to the PC via RS232 connection without bluetooth and

MMC card,

---- the cost of the module

is less than 15 (Euro) without bluetooth and MMC card.
