These cards first used in United Nations Conference on Human Settlements - Habitat II City Summit which held in Istanbul between 3-14 June 1996. These cards are first public chip cards and still available in main post offices. Unfortunatelly the public phones which operated with these cards are not widely available, so their usage are minimal.
