Summary

This study is a finally project of developting mechanical, electronical and software parts of 5 axis robot arm with using only local source. It was decided to using sheet metal for robot arms base and bodies after research for quicklier and cheeper production. In the robot drive unit, there are microcontrollers including with DC servo driver cycle and main microcontroller board for comminication with PC among robot drive unit. Robot control software was developting use basic programming language and this software was developted for industrial using so it is look like industrial robot arm control softwares.

This study's purpose is production a using only local source, cheap and running on the acceptable error limits robot arm. For succesfull this purpose we made to DC servo driver with local source in this study. This DC Servo drivers capasity is 24V and 10A. There are three parts in one axis. Theese parts are DC Motor with permanent magnet, encoder and control unit. Usually, three phase AC motors was used for industrial application. But in this study it was decided to use DC motors for low cost.
