According to the needs of different areas of industry, the strength analysis and design of the important and great structures in the nuclear power plants, petrochemistry and other industrial sectors (reactor bodies, heat exchanger, pressure vessels etc.), machines, mechanisms and their components, pipeline systems and biomechanics problems can be performed using different experimental (photoelasticity, strain gage, replica) and numerical methods or numerical computation packege programs (ANSYS etc.) in the Experimental Mechanics Laboratory of Faculty of Civil Engineering (I.T.U.) |
