This page contains news about my academic career.
November 2021
- Our paper, MOCCA: Multi-Layer One-Class ClassificAtion for Anomaly Detection, has been accepted to IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems Special Issue: Deep Learning for Anomaly Detection.
July 2021
- I attended Eastern Machine Learning Summer School (EEML). https://www.eeml.eu/home
- We are organizing a workshop in FG 2021 conference. The goal of FG4COVID workshop is to present the most recent and advanced work related to face and gesture analysis in the scope of COVID-19. You can access the call for papers from https://fg4covid19.github.io/
December 2020
-
Our new preprint on anomaly detection, MOCCA: Multi-Layer One-Class Classification for Anomaly Detection, is now available at arxiv: https://arxiv.org/abs/2012.12111
In this work, we show how combining the representations extracted from multiple layers of a deep model leads to higher anomaly detection performance. We have achieved state-of-the-art results on the CIFAR10, MVTec AD, and ShanghaiTech, datasets considering both the single-image and video-based scenarios. It is a joint work with ISTI-CNR.
September 2020
- Our low resolution face recognition project which is supported by TUBITAK (Scientific and Technological Re-search Council of Turkey) and ARRS (Slovenian Research Agency) has started. It is a collaboration with Assoc. Prof. VitomirStruc from University of Ljubljana.
July 2020
- Me and my team have won the 2th place in BLG604E Deep Reinforcement Learning Graduate Course final project competition which is sponsored by Eatron Technologies. Goal of the competition was training an agent that can complete any given Formula-1 track on Simstar environment.
January 2020
- Me and my team have won the 2th place in BLG561E Deep Learning Graduate Course final project competition which is sponsored by Eatron Technologies. Goal of the competition was object detection in traffic scenes.
September 2019
- I have received Facebook Scholarship of Facebook Machine Learning Nanodegree Training with PyTorch. In worldwide 200 students have been selected to this scholarship.
