Emre Goncu was born in Ankara, Turkey in 1987. He received his B.Sc degree in Electronics Engineering from Uludag University. He obtained his M.Sc degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Istanbul Technical University(ITU). He is currently a PHD student at ITU. His main research topics are digital system design, Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA), embedded systems, Cellular Automata, Random Number Generators, Physical Unclonable Functions. He is married and has a daughter.
