Course evaluation:Homeworks (tutorials) (20%) , 2 midterm exams (20 + 20 = %40), Final exam (%40).
All topics covered during the course will be asked in the final exam.
Notes :
A total of 10 problem sets (tutorials) will be given to the students every week and students will be asked to
solve and hand in one of the problems to the instructor in the following week. The problem will be marked and handed
back to the studentsthe week after. Summarized solutions of the tutorials will be placed on "course ON-LINE" two
weeks after they are handed in.
Exams will be closed book and notes. However the students will be allowed to bring one page of helpfull
information sheet which he or she has prepared. This page cannot be a photocopy.
