GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPATORY WORK

• limit yourself to 10 minutes maximum for the first 2 rounds
• in later rounds you may extend your presentation to 15 minutes
• have an academic attitude: do not use wikipedia but online academic resorces, such as, that of the library
• when preparing slides, use as little text as possible
• do not talk about anything you do not know or understand
• do not read from your slides
• preparation is important
• make good use of visual aids
• your presentation will be evaluated taking all the above into account, i.e., you will be graded for introducing yourself and your topic, preparation (do you really know what you are presenting?), organization, context, use of visual aids, and clarity of your speech
