Dr. Kulkarni is an experienced engineering leader with proven track record in materials, process development and quality manufacturing systems, and has brought many successful products from concept to commercialization. He has been with industry-leading companies like Asia Brown Boveri and AVX Corporation. Through his long tenure at AVX, from R&D to product development to business manager, his work in developing many new materials, devices, and processes in electronic components, helped establish AVX as a leader in its space. In his last position at AVX as general manager with profit and loss responsibility of the Asian business unit, he turned a money-loosing operation around to profitability by developing and introducing new products, operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
