Special Sessions

Call for Papers - Session on Sensor Data Fusion

Special Session on Sensor Data Fusion is being organized by Heiko Cramer (cramer@infotech.tu-chemnitz.de) and Aris Polychronopoulos (arisp@iccs.gr).

The session will be a major meeting point for research scientists and developers in the field of IV related multi sensor data fusion. The participants will have the opportunity to get in touch with colleagues from academia and industry to present their work to the international fusion community and discuss recent topics of Sensor Data Fusion (SDF). We would like to invite you to submit papers through the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society Conference Management System by January 30, 2007.

Your paper will be subject to the normal review process of the IV 2007 and will be part of the conference proceedings.

Topics of interest are (not limited):

  • SDF architectures
  • environnent models
  • fusion ontologies
  • sensor networks
  • data association
  • target tracking
  • target classification and recognition
  • situation awareness
  • theoretical advances on SDF
  • performance evaluation of SDF

The special sessions will take place during the symposium regular days between June 13-15, 2007 in the Symposium Hotel Hilton, Istanbul .
