Did you see the wing fold together?..."
Nokia BH-102 hardware upgrade
Nokia BH-102 is a relatively old but still working bluetooth headset; and I used to find it weird in some points. Its microphone position is too far away from the mouth which decreases the quality of the talk as well as makes the person you are talking on the phone forcing you to speak loudly. I am not sure whether I am the only one faced with this or not; but if not, I wonder why Nokia engineers designed it this way.
Also nowadays its hard to find a "slim Nokia charger", and even if found, it takes time to until it gets full with a low-current charger.
Hardware-upgrading BH-102 to BH-102v2 by extending the mic and replacing the charger input with Micro USB may keep your some-years-old bluetooth headset up to date for some more years. New version can be shown in image above.
Micro USB interface is not looking perfect yet working well.
A side note: Users still have to keep in mind that bluetooth is vulnerable to sniffing in most cases, especially if we are talking about old and "just-works" devices.
